The artist writes - 'A flamingo, an example of an innocent bystander is another casualty of our pointless and ill-thought-out wars. Having been maimed but survived, it uses an AK47 as a prosthetic leg. We only ever count the human cost of war, but what about all the other casualties that can't be heard.'
